AFFIRMATIVE
COUNTABLE: There are a lot of vitamins in fruits
UNCOUNTABLE: There is a lot of fat in sausages
- We use MANY with countable nouns in negative sentences and questions.
NEGATIVE
COUNTABLE: I don´t have many plans
UNCOUNTABLE: vegetables doesn´t contain much fat
- We use MUCH with uncountable nouns in negative sentences and questions
QUESTIONS
COUNTABLE: How many vitamins are there in this apple?
UNCOUNTABLE: How much fat is there in this fish?
ENOUGH, TOO MUCH AND TOO MANY
We use (not) enough before uncountable and plural countable nouns: Do we have ENOUGH milk?, We don´t have ENOUGH eggs to make a tortilla
We use too much before uncountable nouns: There´s TOO MUCH sugar in my tea
We use TOO MANY before plural countable nouns: Jennifer has bought too many hamburguer
